Chèvre - Ash Grey

Ash Grey is a color that can stand on its own, or can be paired up with other colors as a contrast, and kick it up a notch. This is a full grain combination tanned, aniline dyed goat leather. It has excellent grain definition and is available in two textures, Flat Grain or Grainy.

Both Flat and Grainy leathers have perfectly even color distribution end-to-end, with a luxurious feel, making them a perfect choice for leather goods that need an assertive appearance. If Black is always in season when it comes to a leather color, Grey is not too far behind.  Try it and you'll love it. 

Average Thickness - 1 mm to 1.2 mm  (2.5 oz to 3.0 oz)

Grade: Full Grain A/B

Note:   Your choice of Flat or Grainy texture depends on your project (bags, wallets, etc) or the application (for the outside of a project, as inside lining, etc). "Flat Grain" has visible grain but is smooth to the touch. "Grainy" has visible grain that you can also feel as you run your hand over it. Both finish types come from the same stock of skins but differ only in surface feel.

Note: Flat Grain finish in this color is achieved through adding a light touch of pigment. Expect some grain-bridging and a smoother feel in comparison to Grainy.
