Pssst.... we have managed to get a hold of a very limited number of A grade of Chrome Re-tan Nubuck Cow Calf in five distinct colors. We can't promise but we will try to restock these, if requested. Please send us a DM on Instagram at #tholfineleathers or at #tholdesign.

Historically, Nubuck as a leather article was made popular by the Duke Of Windsor wearing a pair of Newbuck Oxford shoes during a visit to the United States.

Nubucks are made from the outer layer of calfskin. The grain layer of the leather is sanded to produce this distinct ultra-fine nap, producing the luxurious look and feel. Nubuck is generally more expensive than suede and is hands down higher quality in look, and feel. While Suede is made from the inner (less dense) layer of the hide, Nubuck is produced from the outer grainy dense and naturally tougher layer of the hide.  The mechanical sanding process produces imperfections and is very technique dependent.  However, these top grade cow calf skins benefit from our expert finisher's skills. Some natural imperfections like vein marks are expected and give character that real leather is known for. A distinguishing feature of this high grade Nubuck is the fine and even nap, signifying it’s highest quality. Imagine using these for shoes, handbag, belt, backpack, etc.
