Italian Designer Cow Hides

These designer cow hides start off as white-tanned crust and have a snuffed effect produces a highly sophisticated appearance which changes with the lighting.  This article is best used for handbags, pouches, and for other small leather goods. Use reinforcement, as and where needed, to achieve a stiffer temper.  

Maker Tip -  When preparing for storage, roll from neck down.  Do not fold this leather for storage. Use a cardboard tube or wrap with paper to protect leather from unintended creasing or mishandling. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

Tannage: White tan (metal free) 

Average Thickness - 1.0 mm to 1.2 mm  (2.5 oz to 3.0 oz)

Size Range: Half Sides are 8-9 sq ft, Sides are 20-22 sq. ft.

Grade: Full Grain A/B Selection

Temper: Medium

Color : Laminated and sanded effect (Copper, Ruby, Ocean, Gold)

Cut:  Side, and Half Side

Texture: Smooth and patchy sanding effect
