Art. MUSCAT by Gruppo Mastrotto

Art. MUSCAT is a limited release Crocodile Embossed Cow article from Gruppo Mastrotto, a leading Italian tannery from the Arzignano region and is made from premium grade Cow Suede.  You can feel the richness in this leather and the expert crocodile embossing gives the silky suede feel a great texture that is very unique.  Now, there are other ways to get to this pattern and texture but what Mastrotto did with this was that they chose to select their top suede article to then emboss the pattern. We think that this article is best used for a soft handbag or a soft tote with, say, calf lining. You can choose to give it a stiffer lining or keep the softer lining and get that slouchy bag effect.  Your choice.  Other uses we can think of is in upholstery because of the softer drape. But whatever you choose to make with it, rest assured that you have selected one of Mastrotto’s great leathers.
