Art. Tucson is from Conceria Italpel srl., a prestigious tannery located in Ponte a Egola, in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is a full bodied vegetable tanned leather and has truly earned its badge from many crafters and it is now making its entry into the US market. 

The tannery, Conceria Italpel, belongs to a consortium of Vegetable Tanneries of Tuscany and has earned the rights to use their famous and easily recognized  “Tuscan Vegetable-Tanned Leather” handprint logo. This logo guarantees that the leather was made by the book, i.e., in accordance with very strict Technical Product Regulations that govern a selected few tanneries in the Tuscany region. The certified tanneries adopt the highest standards of stewardship of authentic vegetable tanning practices, which is respected the world over.
