About Me
My name is Monica Jacobson, and I live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband and three boys. Most of my time is taken up with homeschooling my boys, but I'm excited to continue mastering the art of leather working, one evening at a time. I love making new patterns and coming up with new and interesting ideas. My favorite inspirations combine fine leatherwork with creative results. My advice to a beginner would be to give yourself room to fail a lot, because nothing good can come without failure.

I'm excited about this product; I've been hoping for a while to find a finished goat leather in the US with a finish and quality similar to my favorite European goat leathers. THOL's goat leather skives and creases well, and seems to have a very similar finish and pigment brightness to the luxury European leathers I've been using for the last few years. I look forward to using it to make more leather goods and seeing how it wears with time and use.
